Cordero di Montezemolo is a medium-sized family owned and run producer operating on a total vineyard area of 51 hectares. The winery has been managed by the same family since 1340, with 19 generations succeeding one another. Cordero di Montezemolo is committed to organic practices. They cultivate their land in compliance with a 100% certified organic farming system, ensuring the integrity and quality of their vineyards.

Fermentation

Maceration takes place over 6-8 days in stainless steel tanks, followed by 10-12 days of fermentation. Wine is then drawn off into small French oak barrels to undergo malolactic fermentation.

Maturation

Aged slowly for 19-21 months in small French oak barriques.
