Founded in 1893 Cantina Terlan is a cooperative consiting of 143 growers in Alto Adige region. Cantina Terlan is known for structuring its vineyards into small plots, which is a strategy aimed at producing high-quality, distinct wines. This approach, combined with the region's favorable microclimate and the use of old vines, allows the winery to produce wines that are well-regarded for their aging potential and complexity.

Fermentation

Manual harvest and selection of the grapes; gentle pressing and clarification of the must by natural sedimentation; slow fermentation at a controlled temperature ; partial malolactic fermentation.

Maturation

Aging on the lees for 10 months partly in stainless steel tanks (50%) and partly in big wooden barrels (50%)
